The Division of Life Science Studies in the Department of Genetics, Biochemistry and Life Science Studies teaches the introductory biology courses, and graduate courses for teachers. It also houses and administers the Prerehabilitation Sciences (Prephysical Therapy, Preoccupational Therapy, Prephysician Assisting, and Preallied Health), Prepharmacy, and Preprofessional Health (Premedicine and Predentistry) curricula.

The Prerehabilitation Sciences Major at Clemson includes Prephysical Therapy, Preoccupational Therapy, Precommunication Sciences and Disorders as well as Prephysician Assisting, and other allied health areas.

Prepharmacy

The Prepharmacy Major prepares students to apply for entry level baccalaureate or PharmD programs.

Preprofessional Health Studies

The Preprofessional Health Studies Program includes premedicine and predentistry options.
