Emphasizes the process of scientific inquiry applied to evolution, cell structure and function, genetics and metabolism. Develops biological literacy by applying concepts to important issues in everyday Life. Not open to students who have received credit for BIOL 110/111 or BIOL 103/104. |

This course is intended to fulfill General Education requirements for students enrolled in non-science curricula. It is not intended for students majoring in scientific or technical areas including the natural sciences, agriculture, forestry, science teaching, or health related disciplines. Professional schools, e.g., medical, pharmacy, dental, veterinary, etc., will not accept this course as fulfilling their biology requirement. |
