Introductory course designed for students majoring in biological disciplines. Course integrates lecture and laboratory and emphasizes a modern, quantitative, and experimental approach to explanations of structure, composition, dynamics, interactions, and evolution of cells and organisms. High school chemistry is recommended. Coreq: CH 101. |

This course is intended to fulfill General Education requirements for students enrolled in biology-related curricula. It is intended for students majoring in the biological sciences. Professional schools, e.g., medical, pharmacy, dental, veterinary, etc., will accept this course as fulfilling their biology requirement. |

Credit toward a degree will be given for only one combination of the following: BIOL 110 or 103 followed by BIOL 111 or 104 dependent on the requirements for the major. |
